The water I live in
Is much too deep.
These waves I am treading
Have me losing my strength.
God I can’t breathe much longer,
I’m sinking right now.
Rescue Me.
Rescue Me.
I cannot swim in this water too deep.
Rescue Me.
I can’t see the shoreline
I can’t see a light.
Darkness has covered
Hope from my eyes.
I need a shelter
From this weary place.
I need a rescue
From this raging wind.
Rescue Me.
Rescue Me.
I cannot swim in this water too deep.
Rescue Me.
I’m fighting the current
But I’m all worn out.
I cannot keep quiet
Soon I will drown.
I don’t see my rescue
I feel the undertow.
I’m sending an SOS
Cause I’m going down.
Rescue Me.
Rescue Me.
I cannot swim in this water too deep.
Rescue me.
I need your lifeline.
The surface is fading, fast.
I need a rescue
Time is running out.
Rescue me.
Rescue me.
Catch me as I’m sinking
In this water so deep.
Rescue me.
Only you can fight this current.
Only you can reach me.
Only you can be my lifeline.
This my last prayer,
Rescue me.
